Blood, Sweat & Tears

Jessica Charlesworth

Project Overview:

The world’s population had been diagnosed as Oniomanic (Compulsive purchasers) and we were all up to our eyeballs in debt. I think we had pretty much forgotten that the credit line wasn’t bottomless and soon we would all hit rock bottom. To avoid global mayhem the credit bureaus become one monopoly and decided to eradicate all our reputations. I just imagine them all standing round a billowing ball of fire, smoke rising through the courtyards of their industrial parks as they threw on each one of our credit score files. Now that we had all been forced to default and been wiped clean from all credit history new system was in place. Good for some not so good for others, it was a revolutionary way of directly connecting our emotional sensitivities with our spending tendencies: our blood, sweat and tears were now the measure of our creditworthiness.
